Hosted by the Count me In! Consortium, Money & Movements brought together 100+ activists & funders to strategise about the future of resourcing feminist movements and social change globally.
At Money & Movements, they called for a transformative funding ecosystem, which is diverse, interconnected and reflective. They agreed that donors have power to shift the needle on feminist funding: transforming their own institutions and/or closing the gaps in policy coherence to resource transformation, gender justice and women human rights. Our founder director brought in the issues of resourcing marginalized movements within women’s rights and posed the question of where was the money for women with disabilities and their full participation and inclusion.
