Founder and Director Nidhi Goyal conducted a session on Disability and Intersectionality as faculty att the Certificate Course in Disabilities Studies. Andrews vision Centre, Wilson College, Mumbai launched Wilson’s first ever course in disability studies in 2018.

The course is an academic and an interdisciplinary enquiry that involves analyzing theoretical, legal and cultural models that influence the understanding of disability and policy making.

A diverse group of 20 – 25 people across age groups attended the course which focused on disability awareness and sensitization, developing needs based intervention programs, representation of disability in popular media and other key issues faced by persons with disability.
