On December 18, 2019, Societe Generale organized a job fair - ConneXion - for persons with disabilities in Bangalore, in collaboration with Equiv - a job portal for diversity talent. For over 125 persons with disabilities attending the fare, it was a fantastic forum for job opportunities, mentorship, and career progression. The fare was nestled alongside talks, panels, and learning workshops and companies from various sectors like banking, IT, and so on were present there.
Our founder and executive director Nidhi Goyal, through her talk, addressed persons with disabilities and the potential employers on the barriers to work place inclusion and the way to overcome it. her focus was on building inclusive teams and reflection on what real and true inclusion looks like.
