On December 5th, Rising Flame conducted a training for the Ola Bangalore office on ‘Demystifying Disability’- thinking through diversity and inclusion. 22 participants across functions, including senior management and leadership including 2 disabled employees participated in the training.
The training aimed at setting context around disability inclusion, busting myths around persons with disabilities and their abilities, building the language around disability and tabled basic etiquette for work place interaction with PWDs. The interactive training used a combination of audio visual materials, simulations and group reflections.
This was the first corporate training for us and it feeds into our commitment of full inclusion of youth with disabilities in all spheres of society.
