At the Shaping Feminist Foreign Policy Summit (SFFP) on November 1, 2023 in the Netherlands, feminist funders shared the reality of the constant crises that impact feminist movements and funders. Nidhi Goyal, Anisha Chugh, Françoise Moudouthe, Ana Falú and Teresa Zapeta delved into the realities of those who are structurally excluded and are leading feminist movements in the Global South. Feminist funders share the reality that many funders are operating in a context of constant turmoil. Overlapping crises are impacting feminist movements. The conference welcomed more than 750 participants from more than 40 countries. SFFP 2023 organised 3 plenary sessions, 13 breakout sessions, 25 Networking stands and 3 art exhibitions. The panellists discussed how policies strengthen feminist movement-building, what makes a policy truly intersectional & feminist, and why resource justice is critical in transformative change.
