The Revolving Door: Diversity & Inclusion in Indian Arts Festivals

The Revolving Door: Diversity & Inclusion in Indian Arts Festivals is a part of the Festival Connection series by The Art X Company. Industry experts and co-learners from the festivals sector come together to discuss and debate inclusive festivals, and how they can work together to support the development of measures in all festivals in the country.

Rising Flame’s founder and executive director Nidhi Goyal was invited to present as well as be a part of the panel on Diversity & Inclusion in Indian Arts Festivals. Among other renowned panelists were Brinda Miller who is the Executive Committee Member of the Kala Ghoda Association and Parmesh Shahani who is heading the Godrej India Culture Lab. The panel discussion brought together varied conversations and perspectives on inclusion with respect to broader themes of values, teams, programming and audience experience.
